Oral history interview with Ike Walker, 1981 September 16.

Interview with Ike Walker concerning his experiences as one of the founders of Bomber Bait Company in Gainesville, Texas. Walker discusses his family background, farming during the Depression in Olton, Texas, his employment as a gasoline retailer in Olton and a tire repair operator in Gainesville, his interest in designing fish baits, and the development of the Bomber Bait Company with Clarence Turbeville. He also talks about the problems obtaining supplies at the end of World War II, designing hard baits, the expansion of the market, the sale of the company, his views on the success of Bomber Bait, and the failures of other bait companies.
